It was set up like a movie production and also had informational posts where you could push for fun celebrity facts as you hopefully win but in my case lose at mini golf! I love mini golf, it is always so much fun but my husband is a little competitive and never lets me win! On we went to Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf. You are lead to the 5D terror and have to try to help rid the castle of its multiple invaders as you are whirled around like being on a roller coaster in a haunted house and you can even feel things coming at you! I survived that alone and it always seems like it was so much fun to me, once I’m out!!! You do have a gun but as the gun is secured and not able to be thrown it didn’t seem to ease my tension. You are told the procedure if you need to stop at anytime, and given your glasses. Now for the part that I was a little concerned about considering I went to the Castle of Chaos by myself and I am a scaredy cat! When you enter you are led to a room where you are seated and buckled in. We made our way and found Princess Hannah and got to enjoy some enchanted mirrors on the way out. On your way you learn the story of princess Hannah and you have to help find her! Let me tell you it is not easy but my family and I had a blast trying to figure it out and you have helpers that appear that try to help you stay on track. There is a section of the museum that is the Monsters section and since I had my small children with me I was very glad that they had an alternate route that you could bypass the monsters section so my husband took the kids and I went in, reluctantly! I got to the see Predator, the Munsters, Hannibal Lecter, it was pretty cool!Īs if the wax museum wasn’t enough they also have a Maze of Mirrors, Castle of Chaos, and Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf! We went on to Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors. They had games set up you could play, you could see how you compare in height to actual celebrities, you can even be George Clooney’s wife! They have a station set up where you can see how the figures are actually made which was neat. I had never been to a wax museum so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but WOW it is cool how life-like they all are! Tom cruise hanging from the ceiling like Mission Impossible, Forrest Gump sitting with his box of chocolates, my daughter sitting next to I Dream of Jeanie.Īll the figures were in their settings that they were in the movie and you can be as close as you want! They have prop stations set up throughout where you can dress up and participate in the scenes like we did the time warp with Star Trek. When driving through the main strip in Branson Missouri there is one thing that you can’t and shouldn’t miss, the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center! If you don’t notice King Kong hanging from the building from a mile away then you will notice the Mount Rushmore of famous faces out front! All opinions are my own and may differ from yours. I received complimentary tickets for Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson, MO in order to facilitate my review.
